Using the words Midwest and Aquarium I wanted to created what I thought a Midwest city might look like if it were underwater. First, I found inspiration from pictures and then started to sketch out my basic concepts. I imagined that the buildings would all be curvilinear in form and that the people would use a complex systems of tubes to effectively move around.
